Policy of the XFC-support public mailing list

Professional Edition customers and Personal Edition users are welcome to post bug reports and requests for enhancements to the XFC-support public mailing list.

Before submitting your support request:

  1. Make sure to use the latest version of the product.
  2. Check the Conformance Statement document, in case you are facing a documented limitation of the product.
  3. Test your XSL-FO against an XSL-FO processor other than XMLmind XSL-FO Converter. We strongly recommend using RenderX XEP for that. (RenderX XEP Personal Edition is free to use for testing purposes.)

Your support request must include the following information:

  • Describe the problem as precisely as possible.
  • Specify the platform (OS, Java runtime .NET runtime, etc) used to run the product and the target word processor (e.g. MS-Word 2003).
  • Attach to your email a small, indented, written by hand, XSL-FO file reproducing the problem.

Failing to comply with the above instructions will cause your support request to be rejected. We are sorry to have to do that, but we have found that responding to informal support requests takes us too much time.
