Customization Service
The problem and its
solution
XMLmind XML Editor is a highly
extensible application. But what if you want to adapt it to your needs and
cannot do it yourself or hire a consultant to do it for you?
We have
an easy-to-purchase, affordable, solution to this problem: product "XML
Editor - Customization Service" (reference xe-su).
USD150/EUR125 buys you one hour of customization service.
Explain us
by email what you want and we'll tell you how much units of product
xe-su you'll have to purchase. Once we receive your payment, we'll
start working for you and after at most seven working days, you'll receive
your customization packaged as an easy-to-install add-on.
How to
proceed
- Send us (
) an email, in English,
explaining what you want as precisely as possible. We can create
customizations of any of our stock configurations (DocBook, DITA, XHTML,
etc). Typically, this involves creating custom commands (with
corresponding keyboard shortcuts and/or tool bar buttons) and
customizing the HTML, PDF, RTF, etc, generated using the "Convert
Document" menu.
Actual examples:
- If this can be done within the framework of product "XML Editor -
Customization Service" (reference xe-su), we'll tell you
how much units of product xe-su you'll have to purchase.
In
the vast majority of cases, this number of units should vary from 1 to
4.
- If you are interested, you'll have to purchase online or by wire transfer the
indicated number of units of product xe-su.
- Once we receive your payment, we'll start working for you.
If, for
technical or staffing reasons, we find that we cannot implement what you
want, we'll refund your money.
- After at most seven working days, you'll receive your customization
packaged as an easy-to-install add-on.
This add-on is all yours, as if
you did it yourself. There is no copyright or license attached to
it.
If developing the add-on involves writing one or more commands
in JavaTM, we will include in the deliverable the full source
code, as well as an ant
build.xml file allowing to easily rebuild the corresponding
.jar file.
This add-on is perennial. It is expected to
work fine with all future versions of XMLmind XML Editor. If you find
that this is no longer the case, we'll upgrade your add-on for
free.
